You Can Now Buy Your Favorite LUSH Products With Bitcoin
Homemade cosmetic giant LUSH has announced that they will begin accepting Bitcoin payments for their online stores.
LUSH is amongst the latest companies to take steps in embracing the digital currency. Recently, it was announced that Japan will have over 260,000 retail stores accepting Bitcoin payments by the end of the year. Germany's largest food distributor, Liferando also recently starting accepting Bitcoin.
LUSH embraces the decentralized nature of cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and hopes to use its boundless reach to assist in global initiatives. Bitcoin is not tied to any other fiat currency, leaving it unaffected by the global foreign exchange fluctuations. Customers from all over the world can now pay the same for a product.
Finance Manager Mike West explains:
“Accepting Bitcoin is very exciting for Lush. With Bitcoin, customers from all around the world will pay the same for our products, free from volatile currency fluctuations and lofty bank charges. Cryptocurrencies are the future of global trade and we want to ensure that we are prepared to move into this new digital era.”
